The Wait Is Over!

Updated: Mar 15, 2023

Hey there! Today is the day and I'm so glad you're here - I've been waiting for you to come. Thank you for visiting my little site. I cannot tell you what it means to me to have you here.

For 12 years I've been meaning to write a book. And by 'meaning to write' I mean, feeling like I should, hearing from many of you that I should, writing down ideas and thoughts in countless journals and even housing a ton of writing on a secret blog that was released to absolutely no one (very helpful, I know).

Eighteen months ago, whether in a moment of insane bravery or a moment of complete insanity I'm not sure, I walked out of my office, into the office of a dear friend and said, "I'm saying this out loud because I need the accountability AND you've been telling me I need to do this for a very long time. I'm going to write a book."

And so it began. I haven't finished it yet, but this blog, and your support are what is going to get me there. I do believe I have words in me that are important and that need to be said...and read. (It's also taken me years to be able to say that sentence and actually believe it).

So - welcome to Waiting on Wonders. This is the blog that will become the book that has been writing me for most of the last 12 years. Here you will find brand new content cozied right up to some refreshed content from previous writing I've done. All of it will point to pausing in everyday moments and finding God's voice in each of them.

It would mean so much to me to have you subscribe to get the latest and follow along on social channels and tell your people about it. I promise I will not fill your feed or inbox with an overload (and if you know me, you know that's not my style), but you are the ones that have been encouraging me, and I need that now more than ever. Having friends like you that read the blog, comment on the posts, or interact with me about this on social will help this book become a reality. I cannot thank you enough.

So, to begin. Are you a fellow "wait-er"? I'd love to hear what you're learning as you wait on the Lord. I've been learning that God is always speaking and I'm learning to pause and listen to what He is saying and now, bring it here to share with you.

Are you ready? Yeah - me too. But we're going to have to wait for it...

-TB
